Fernand & Laurent Pillot, Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot Rouge Size:12x750ml The sleek and nicely detailed

The sleek and nicely detailed flavors possess a bit more volume and density before concluding in a more structured and youthfully austere finale

As is often the case this is easily the most floral-inflected nose in the range

The reduction aside this is really a lovely effort though note well that ample patience is requisite

This wine is made by the brilliant Libourne/St

Fernand & Laurent Pillot, Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot Rouge Size:12x750ml The sleek and nicely detailed(from Ez Crottes and Guerchre). Ripe liqueur like aromas of various dark berries are laced with hints of pepper and earth. The exceptionally rich, even lavish, medium weight flavors possess a highly seductive texture while displaying good if not special depth and length on the moderately rustic and slightly warm finale. This is also sufficiently pliant to be approachable young, yet it also has the requisite stuffing to repay up to a decade of aging.
