Description

A smoky nose of petrol

From Barossa Valley

terroir note

An exceptionally pure and refined nose of white flowers

Verget, Pouilly Fuisse Combes Vv Vintage:2020 A smoky nose of petrol(from Pouilly). Pungent aromas of reduction and wood toast dominate the nose at present so be sure to give this some air first. More interesting are the succulent, round and very generously proportioned medium bodied flavors that conclude in a lingering and sappy if somewhat one dimensional finish where a hint of warmth slowly emerges.
