Moonrise Shawl Black post cards Sakurajima volcanic ash is kiln-bakedThis shawl was designed by Japanese textile brand Mills Studio and handmade by skilled artisans in the village of Bagru near Jaipur, India. The patterns are produced by a traditional woodblock printing technique, so each piece is unique and features slight variations. Craftsmen use dyes made with natural minerals fermented with old iron and sugar, as well as natural dyes like flowers and plant nuts.
