Jonata's 630-case 2012 El Desafio de Jonata checks in as a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon

Delivers a broad feel on the finish

tight and linear with huge amounts of dry extract that renders the very firm acid spine almost invisible at present though the finish is clearly shaped by it

with lift and purity

Labegorce Zede other_regions_italy Jonata's 630-case 2012 El DesafioThe 1996 is dense, peppery, and smoky, with some austerity, but rich, medium bodied flavors, as well as fine power, depth, and ripeness. The wine will need 3 4 years of cellaring, and will keep for 10 15. This is a solidly made effort from the Margaux appellation.
