Casale del Giglio Faro della Guardia certified organic was only created in 1882Pale yellow with a greenish hue. An intense perfume of hawthorn blossom, ripe golden peach and fresh apricot. The palate is flinty and fresh, reminiscent of the volcanic calcareous vineyard soils and sea breezes that sustain the vine. A lingering fruitiness on the finish and a hint of citrus. Serve chilled at 12C. Good body and firm fruit make the wine suitable for prolonged bottle aging.
