Marengo, Barolo Brunate other_regions_italy Otherwise the denseThe 2004 Barolo Brunate is approaching an early plateau of maturity. Deep and pliant on the palate, the 2004 possesses striking depth, fabulous balance and sense of resonance that is hugely appealing. Dried rose petal, sage, mint and crushed raspberries meld into the soft, succulent finish. This is a lovely showing. Antonio Galloni
