Te Whana Rebel Riders #103 Original Painting wool The Fantail is inlaid withWe are beyond delighted to present these incredible original paintings by Rakai Karaitiana, from his "Te Whana Rebel Riders" series. These artworks pay homage to a time of conflict between Mori and the arrival of foreign missionaries and settlers, presenting a narrative that pays tribute to the significance of the horse in Maori culture. A reinterpretation and reimagined history for us all to appreciate. We are so honoured to have an original artwork
