It is a long-term wine that is nowhere close to finishing its development
deep and tightly wound
Like the Clos de la Roche this too should be approachable after only a few years if that’s your preference
the 2008 Valpolicella Superiore is fabulous in this vintage
Patrick Javillier, Meursault Clousot Brut Zero It is a long-term wine(the name is a play on words as this is a . 60 ha blend of two vineyards, Les Clous and Crotots). Here too the wood influence is discreet and easily allows the ripe and airy aromas of apple, pear, olive oil and citrus elements to shine. There is excellent punch and an almost pungent minerality on the youthfully austere and firm finish that exhibits lovely balance. This is a bigger but not finer wine than the Tillets and is also lovely.
