Zind-Humbrecht’s 2008 Gewurztraminer Hengst is still an ennobled sweet wine

There is again solid volume and mid-palate density to the rich yet reasonably price flavors that possess and exotic inner mouth perfume on the rusty and notably firm finale

the wine has quite an earthy nose of fertile loam

it’s the degree that matters and whether the nose would bother most people is hard to judge but it did me

Occidental (Kistler), Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir Vintage:2014 Zind-Humbrecht’s 2008 Gewurztraminer Hengst isPale cherry red. Very pale rim. Savoury vegy nose. A little smudgy on the nose. Marked acidity and fruit reminiscent of red hard candy Spangles. A little simple and lightly sweaty but quite pretty.
