high glycerin and good acidity
soft fragrance of spice and sandalwood and medium weight
plush and hauntingly beautiful wine with tremendous power
Dry finish
Louis Jadot, Clos Roche Vintage:2019 high glycerin and good acidityLike the Chambertin, this is both ripe and brooding with slightly riper aromas of roasted plum, black cherry and warm earth, all of which is trimmed in enough wood to notice. The caressing yet powerful big bodied flavors flash good muscle on the raspy and somewhat short if very firm finish. This may well age out, but the balance isnt nearly as well dialed in compared to the best of these grands crus.
