One of a Kind. This is a tremendous WWII leather bound journal kept by Cheedle Vincent Caviness, who spent time fighting in Italy from 1943 1944 before returning stateside. As the journal mentions, he was tired of being a Pentagon Commando and requested overseas service again. He was assigned to the 502nd Bombardment Group and this journal tracks his service from that point, March 1945, until he returned home again in September 1945.
