'Dapple Dandy' Pluot has unique greenish yellow skin with mottled red spots inspiring the name "Dinosaur Egg" in fresh fruit markets. The creamy pink flesh is freestone and has a sweet, slightly spicy, low acid flavor. Fruit ripens in late July to August. Requires 400 chill hours to set fruit. Needs a pollinizer such as Santa Rosa Plum.
