This is a very nice example of a hard to find sword, an Italian Naval Officers sword from the WWII Era. The sword features a straight 29 inch blade with etched panels on each side displaying Italian military arms and a set of what appear to be pilots wings clutched a fasces. The sword features a solid basket guard of brass displaying a crowned anchor emblem. The reverse side of the guard originally folded down to
