This is an extraordinary example of an American Revolutionary War mounted dragoon saber, which is likely American made but may also be of German origin or influence. It has a lovely brass stirrup style hilt with a wire wrapped leather grip. The curved 30 blade features a thin fuller at the end. This example certainly saw heavy use and has a lovely patina across the blade, with past oxidation having been cleaned away,
