Tunnel and Greenhouse Winter Plant Collection Shallots & Garlic moving and heavy pruning jobsAfter researching in our own trial polytunnel we can thoroughly recommend these varieties for the cold winter greenhouse or polytunnel! 40 plants, 10 of each variety. Calabrese Aquiles F1 This over wintering calabrese will yield a tasty and reliable crop as early as March in the tunnel. We have cut the central heads in the first week of March and side spears 10 days later. The solid heads are tender and delicious. Highly resistant to downy mildew too.
