Description

The lower fitting has some dents and the ball end has been crushed due to the weaker nickel alloy used in early models (later ones used steel)

There beyond the lock and breech block there is no definitive way of telling which parts were made in England and which were made in Nepal

Deemed to be too similar to the German Model 1916 helmet it was discarded and taken out of consideration

but has now been cleaned and de-rusted to preserve it
