LUCIUS CURTIS PEASE JR., known as "LUTE", lived from 1869 until 1963. He was Nationally known as the Political Cartoonist for THE NEWARK EVENING NEWS from 1914 until 1954. The archive is made up of EIGHT original pieces of pencil Art Work published during WWII and into the Cold war era. These are totally original, covered in whiteout corrections, and each is titled. Most are officially stamped with a 3 1 2" X 2"
