Founded in Gloucester, Massachusetts by Caldecott Awardwinner Virginia Lee Burton Demetrios, the group was made up primarily of women artists dedicated to collaborative design. Through more than 300 hand printed fabric designs, the Folly Cove Designers told personal and regional stories using shared design principles
