Human Ilium Bone Freestanding and under rocky ledgesSourced ethically via vintage educational and medical specimens. This ilium comes from Clay Adams Co. educational display. The ilium bone is the largest and uppermost bone in the pelvic girdle (the hip region). It's one of the three bones that make up the hip bone, along with the ischium and pubis. It is located on each side of the pelvis, forming the upper portion of the hip bone. Probably not a shock, but it plays a vital role in the human body.
